How to disable activation key input when installing Windows 8, 8.1, 10
- Note: If you created the Windows 8.1 installation flash drive under our article Creating the Windows 8.1 bootable USB flash drive, then you can simply find the sources folder on the USB flash drive and copy our ei.cfg file to it. That’s all, the installation process of Windows 8.1 will occur for you without requiring a key. Everything that is written below is optional.
you can use the program to add files to it Ultraiso. With UltraISO, you can add any files to any ISO image.
Unfortunately, the program is paid and even in trial mode the program will not allow you to work with images weighing more than 300 MB. In the explorer window that opens, we find our Windows 8.1 Professional 64-bit image, select it with the left mouse and click Open.
Select the EI.cfg file with the left mouse and drag it to the top of the UltraISO program window in the sources folder.
The file is copied, all that remains is to recreate the image.
We will not touch the original ISO file, we will create its ISO copy with the file already added. Let’s name the new image of Windows 8.1 Professional 64-bit. File->Save as
Enter the new name of Windows 8.1 Professional 64-bit and click Save
