Contents of delivery
Let’s start by tradition with the delivery. A medium-sized white box made of thick cardboard in which our M6 Note is located, an envelope with accompanying documentation, a clip for removing the SIM card slot and two cardboard boxes with a USB / microUSB cable and a power adapter (5/9 / 12V / 2A).
Design, materials, assembly
Meizu M6 Note comes in four colors: black, blue, gold and silver. The front panel of black and blue smartphones is black, while the gold and silver smartphones are white. My test device is in black.
Strong changes in terms of design, when compared with previous devices of the Note line, the smartphone did not receive. And in front and even more so. all on one face. Whether this is good or not is a secondary question, but the fact remains. The frames around the display, in particular above and below the screen, are quite wide. Otherwise, the case also remained familiar to us: aluminum, with a slightly curved back closer to the edges. You can also observe the chamfer on the sides and top. Below there is no such chamfer, which does not affect the appearance at all, and it is done, most likely, solely for ease of use.
Video: Meizu M6 Not Working
Smartphone is built perfectly. No creaks were found. All parts fit well. Power / unlock and volume keys do not dangle.
The front, of course, is the display, above which there is an LED indicator for alerts, proximity and light sensors, a slot for the earpiece with a grid and a front camera. The indicator is monochrome, there are no settings, so it can glow, or rather blink, only in white. And another feature. the LED only works when a notification arrives, that is, during the same charge, for example, it will not light. The entire front panel is covered with 2.5D glass, which in turn is covered with a good oleophobic coating.
Below the screen there is a mechanical mTouch button, combined with a fingerprint scanner. It is exactly the same as on other devices of the company and works on the same principles.
On the right side in a small neat recess are the power / unlock button and volume key. Thanks to such a deepening, it is impossible to confuse the keys, because this cutout between them is felt and very easily felt.
On the left side is the only combined slot for two SIM cards nano format or one SIM card and a microSD memory card.
On the bottom edge exactly in the center we see the microUSB port, on the sides of which there are screws. To his right are 5 holes behind which the main speaker is located. On the left is the main microphone and 3.5 mm audio jack.
On the top face is nothing but an additional noise reduction microphone.
On the back of the top we see a plastic strip for antennas, in the center of which a two-tone LED flash of four LEDs is located. Unusual solution. By the way, the flash can also act as an indicator of events, for example, when an incoming call, when the device is in a blocked state, the LEDs flash alternately. Then we observe two camera eyes. The one that is higher (main). slightly protrudes from the body, and which is lower (additional). on the contrary, the recess is recessed into the body. Under the lenses are the company logo, and almost at the very bottom there is a service marking and a second plastic strip of antennas.
